Abstract submission is now closed. Deadline The deadline for submitting abstracts was May 6, 2010. Notification Notification regarding acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be made to the contact author only via email by May 24, 2010. This email will contain the date and time of the poster session in which the abstract has been programmed. Co-authors will not receive notification. Registration Policy Abstract submitters who are accepted for a poster presentation MUST register to attend the meeting by July 1, 2010 for their abstract to be included in the Summer Symposium Program and their poster to be scheduled in a poster session. Submitters who are accepted, but do not register prior to July 1 will be considered withdrawals, and will not be included in the Final Program. Abstract Presentation Submitting authors must indicate a presenting author during abstract submission. Presenting authors must be prepared to present the submitted abstract at the Sumer Symposium should their abstract be accepted for the meeting. Posters will not be allowed without an accompanying presenter. If your abstract is selected, it must fit on a poster board that is eight feet wide (horizontal) by four feet high (vertical). Abstract Publication Abstracts accepted for presentation and properly registered by July 1, 2010 will be published in PDF format on the WIO website and be distributed to all WIO Summer Symposium delegates. Abstracts that have been or will be published prior to the time of presentation at the Summer Symposium may NOT be submitted. Exception: If additional data/research is added to a previously published abstract, the abstract may be submitted. Withdrawals Abstract withdrawals must be received in writing before July 1, 2010.
