The WIO Summer Symposium offers something unique that no other meeting does: A curated meeting for women offering “the best of the best” content in all subjects of importance to women ophthalmologists. Nowhere else will attendees find so many dynamic speakers and specialized educational content in a collegial atmosphere designed specifically for women. This is a must-attend event!

Registration
Registration for our Virtual Summer Symposium is now open, and will remain open through Wednesday, August 19th. Registration includes access to all virtual scientific sessions, honored lectures, Skill Labs, exhibit hall, social events, Live Well sessions, fun breaks, contests, and more.
Physicians can earn up to 24 hours of CME credits.
The first 500 virtual registrants will be sent the conference giveaway bag by mail.
Can’t attend a virtual meeting all weekend? No problem! The entire virtual meeting will be available ON DEMAND starting Tuesday, August 25th for 30 days.

Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your registration for the virtual Summer Symposium, a refund of your registration payment, less a $30 cancellation fee, will be processed through August 19th. No refunds will be processed starting August 20th.
LIVE MEETING CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS
All registrations for the live meeting that was to take place on Amelia Island will be cancelled and refunded over the next several weeks. A confirmation of your refund will be sent to you by email once it is processed.
Lodging CANCELLATIONS
The Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island will cancel all reservations made through the WIO block automatically. No additional action is needed.
If you have booked outside of WIO’s block or at another hotel, please reach out to your accommodation directly to cancel.

Abstracts
Accepted poster and video abstract authors will showcase their work in the virtual platform. Highlighted posters will be asked to participate in one of the offered guided poster sessions. Thank you to all who submitted this year!
Presenter Central
All participants, poster and oral presenters, are required to register for the Virtual Summer Symposium and submit a Financial Disclosure form to the WIO Executive Office. Click here to download the Financial Disclosure form. Remember to include a financial disclosure slide at the beginning of your presentation. Each oral and poster presenter will be sent audio-visual instructions for uploading their presentation and/or their poster, pre-recording their talk, or connection instructions for their live stream presentation. The WIO symposia may be archived and made available on the WIO website after the meeting.
